2014 Social Impact Grant to Build your own Interactive Website

If you have an idea for a website idea that will have a positive social impact and you want to learn to build it yourself, apply below for a grant to win a six-week live online course and one-on-one strategic planning .

At New Media Solutions one of our specialties is working with social entrepreneurs and nonprofits. We think Drupal is an amazing and powerful tool for innovative projects that make the world a better place.  We are offering these grants to encourage its use.

We are giving out a Grant worth $700 to an individual who has an innovative idea for a website that will have a positive social impact.  If you have such an idea and a desire to learn to build the site yourself you are eligible to apply.   (Projects can be for-profit, nonprofit, sponsored by an organization or independent.)

This is a great opportunity for a social entrepreneur who wants to build their own website or prototype.

The grant entitles you to free tuition in a 6 week course on building an interactive website with Drupal ($350 value) and a one on one (by phone) strategic planning sessions with an expert ($350). 

No programming skills are required. You can work on your site over the length of the course.

We will announce the winner on May 26th. 

The course begins on May 28th.
